I've been sewing for way longer than I care to admit but have only started quilting (sort of) seriously in the last year or so. Have watched just about every quilting video on YouTube and have turned many, many shades of green with jealousy at the fabulously talented work that people are producing. The biggest thing I've discovered about my relationship with quilting and patchwork is that I'm completely loving the process - and am not overly concerned with the result! Not that I don't want my quilts to turn out fabulously, but the process of choosing fabric, cutting fabric and then sewing it together again -
all of that is definately more therapeutic for me. Heard someone say that "quilting is my therapy" and I can really relate to that. Lots to learn, lots to try and definately lots more fabric to buy!
